LTAP/TTAP E-news
Conference Edition 2009

The 2009 National LTAP/TTAP Conference, organized by the National LTAP Association and hosted by the Centers of Region 3, was held July 27-30 in Pittsburgh, PA. There were 195 attendees this year representing ninety percent of the Centers.

Videos, presentations and other downloads from the conference are now available in a special conference section of the LTAP/TTAP program web site. Conference photos are available on an online gallery.

Stay tuned for updates to this section as more materials from the meeting arrive at the FHWA LTAP/TTAP Clearinghouse.

New Resources and Opportunities

• Centers now have the ability to upload information directly into the online LTAP/TTAP Resource Database and the Best Practice database to share with fellow Centers! The databases and upload feature are available in the Centers Only portion of the program Web site.
• Be sure to check out the best practices from the 2008 PAR, now online.
• APWA has contributed 10 recorded Click, Listen and Learn sessions to the FHWA LTAP/TTAP Clearinghouse for LTAP/TTAP use. Contact for details.

About the FHWA LTAP/TTAP Clearinghouse

The FHWA LTAP/TTAP Clearinghouse provides program support to the Local Technical Assistance Program (LTAP) and the Tribal Technical Assistance Program (TTAP). It is operated under contract to the Federal Highway Administration by the American Road & Transportation Builders Association Transportation Development Foundation (ARTBA-TDF). The Clearinghouse operates from ARTBA's Washington, D.C. office.
